A few weeks ago, I was talking to my mom on the phone, complaining that I didn't know what the heck to do with a girl since all I know now are cars and gross boy noises. I told her that I was a wee bit nervous about cleaning baby-girl-to-
be's girly bits and having to wipe from front to back (I don't - too complicated), and that I imagined Hubs was, too. Her response?
Well, if your father can do it, anyone can.
Ohhhh, sweet Jesus. Sweet Jesus Christ. La la la stop talking stop talking STOP talking.
That's a visual I never ever wanted to have. But that's why I love my mom. She comes out with some funny stuff sometimes.
I do believe we've settled on a name for the baby girl. Not sure if I'll reveal it ahead of time, but it's killer. Unique. A
boy's unisex name, just like my own. The meaning is "The Lord is my God." Maybe she'll grow up to be involved in something religious. Or, maybe she'll grow up to become a serial killer because she hates her name.

funny re: your father - definitely not something i'd like to think about either. BLEH!
based on my own experience, going from cleaning bangers and mash to a hoo-hoo is not easy. if you're second child is the same sex, it doesn't matter, obviously. anyway, since BS is 19mos old, i've gotten used to it, but at first i was FREAKED out. i do not look forward to potty-training!
as far as names... i used to get pissed when people wouldn't tell me the names they were thinking of. until i had my 2nd and told everyone what we were going to name her. people and their stupid f-ing opinions can kick my butt. so, good for you for remaining hush-hush! ;)
ugh, i meant KISS my butt...
So difficult to clean a girl's yaya or petey as my daughter says. Anyway, I always felt like I was violating her....even though it was absolutely normal. We still have one name that we wished we would have used, but everyone turned up their nose when they heard it. I guess it will hang in limbo, childless, forever.
Maybe we'll have to walk each other through it. I'm having a boy and my first was a girl PLUS my sister only had girls so I have NO IDEA what to with a boy. I asked my husband this morning. His response: We just fight and pee off the deck. Oy!
I am dying to know the name McTeaser....for real! :)
PLEASE SPILL - or at least just tell me. =)
E - I don't have your e-mail address! Heather knows! :P Send me a PM on the other site, or an e-mail and I'll be happy to share.
